June 21 marked the second public event on contemporary religiosity or “The State of God 2018” organized at Pakhuis de Zwijger in Amsterdam. This year’s theme was urban religion. The entire event was recorded and can be viewed on YouTube. In this video, Pooyan Tamimi Arab tells the story of one building and reflects on how such stories can help us understand urban religion in the present, and perhaps also the future.
